The innovative fire protection company SpiderFire is now an active member of AVM Södertälje, a business network consisting of 44 engaged companies and two municipalities.
“We are a new fire protection company in Södertälje, and the network has already been of great importance to us; we have gained several new and valuable contacts. Trust is built in networks!” says Tommi Holappa, CEO of SpiderFire.
AVM's Network Coordinator, Jan Marklund, looks forward to the collaboration with SpiderFire:

AVM supports entrepreneurs by offering a platform to meet other business owners, create new contacts, and buy and sell products and services. Monthly breakfast meetings bring decision-makers, salespeople, and entrepreneurs together from across the Södermanland region.
The network is unique because it is owned by local basketball clubs. AVM Södertälje is owned by Södertälje Basketball Club, and all income from the network goes directly to the club's operations.
"It’s fantastic that we can simultaneously support youth sports in the region as well as the local basketball club, while also getting the opportunity to meet businesses in the area," says Tommi.
Networks Unite
SpiderFire's membership in the AVM network began through a collaboration with photographer Karin Schulz. Karin, who specializes in product and corporate photography, is also the official photographer for the network's business meetings in Södertälje and is a member of the network herself.
“Karin saw that the AVM network could be beneficial for us in terms of creating new contacts, and invited us. Thanks to her invitation, we are now part of this dynamic and valuable network,” says Riina Aikio, Chief Operations Manager at SpiderFire.
“We are now looking forward to strengthening local relationships and developing our business, while also contributing to the local community’s well-being together with others in the network. We are committed to offering our innovative fire protection solutions to create safe and secure environments for local businesses and community actors,” adds Riina.

AVM Södertälje
The AVM business network was founded in March 2015 in Stockholm/Solna and in December of the same year in Umeå. Since then, it has expanded with local networks in northern Stockholm (Norrort) and Södertälje. AVM Södertälje, owned by Södertälje Basketball Club (SBBK), currently has two municipalities (Södertälje and Nykvarn) and over 45 companies connected.
By participating in AVM Södertälje, companies gain not only marketing and new business contacts but also contribute to the region's youth sports, as the service and marketing fees for the network go directly to SBBK.
A company wishing to join the network is welcome to attend a breakfast meeting and then start discussions about joining. Companies can be invited by existing members or through Jan Marklund or SBBK.
Karin is a photographer from Södertälje specializing in product and corporate photography. Her services also include portrait photography for individuals and families, fine art, dance, actor, artist, sports, product, food, event, and social photography.
In central Södertälje, she has a modern photography studio with excellent connections and parking facilities. She also has a mobile studio that she can easily set up to a professional standard. Additionally, she is a trained international makeup artist. She is also the official photographer for the AVM network at Södertälje's business meetings and is herself a member of the network. This year, she is celebrating 15 years as a business owner.
